The new generation of coatings for heavy-duty corrosion protection

For a long time paints based on coal tar pitch were used for heavy-duty corrosion protection. The main substance of these tar epoxide products is benzopyrene, now known to be carcinogenic, and coatings containing tar can therefore no longer be used.
