Adapted product label layout

The legal requirements for product declarations and labelling are evolving. For this reason, we have adapted the layout of our product labels and will implement this from July.

What changes:

  • New UFI code
The Unique Formula Identifier (UFI) is a 16-digit alphanumeric code which contains the company’s VAT number and a unique formulation number. This code allows poison control centres to identify the composition of the mixture, e.g. in case of an accident. We will successively register our products until the end of this year and list the UFI code on the labels and safety data sheets.
  • Compulsory training for users of diisocyanates in the EU area
From 24 August, users of diisocyanates in the EU area will have to undergo training on the safe use of these products (see February 2023 newsletter). This note will now appear on the labels of 2K hardeners based on isocyanates.

Further adaptations to the CLP resp. GHS regulations require more and more space to be legible. This leaves less and less space for the product information relevant to you. Nevertheless, all important product information (product description, article number, lot, weight, date, QR code, etc.) is still clearly visible on the new labels.
