Highest UV stability thanks to fluoropolymer

Sheet 87 of the BASt is the standardized system for steel and bridge construction. Only polyurethane top coats are permitted here, and this has a decisive disadvantage: low UV stability. The result? After a short time, the top coat appears faded and dull – the original aesthetic appearance disappears.

Monopol Colors has therefore successfully tested a coating build-up with its own fluoropolymer top coat according to Sheet 87:

equivalent corrosion protection
significantly higher UV stability
