New façade for the Dior flagship store in Geneva

The façade of the new Dior flagship in Geneva was created by BFG International (Bahrain) in a remarkable combination of innovation and style by using lightweight composite cladding.

The heart of the façade is the application of our high-performance coating Vernidur FP on a glass fibre reinforced plastic substrate (GRP). The composite material, which is known for its exceptional strength and versatility, is the ideal basis for the complex shape of the façade.

A matt 2C fluoropolymer topcoat in RAL 9010 was used for the façade of the flagship store. This product was chosen for its excellent quality and provides a smooth, matt finish that is perfectly matching with Dior’s luxurious aesthetic.

The ultra-durable fluoropolymer quality ensures that the coating is not only visually impressive, but also incredibly durable, resists environmental influences and retains its elegance over a long time. With an area of 1,200 square meters, a careful application was crucial to achieve the desired effect.
